‘Boil on thigh’ as Liverpool manager insists he will not be sacked after West Ham win
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has ruled out leaving the club as he prepares for the new season.
Rodgers said he would not be leaving Anfield until the end of the season, and he had no intention of leaving until the FA Cup final was won by his side over Manchester United on Tuesday night.
The Reds have lost the last four of the last six league games in which they have faced West Ham, with their only victory in the past five games coming against the Hammers on the final day of last season’s campaign.
Rodkins was sacked by the Reds on Monday following the 2-2 draw with the Hammesst on October 6.
The West Ham boss admitted he was frustrated after a poor start to the season but said he has been fortunate to have been given the opportunity to get the job done.
West Ham have won three of their last four league games and have only lost two matches in all competitions.
