‘The Man Who Knew Too Much’: An Interview With Director John McTiernan
Writer John McTernan talks about his latest project, ‘The Mansions of the Sun’.
It was released on July 31st, 2016.
“I love that I can do anything, I just don’t have the time for that anymore.
But that’s a good thing because if I don’t find the time to do it I’ll just be working on a film and then it’s gone,” McTERNAN says.
He’s working on another project at the moment, and hopes to shoot it in the next couple of months.
“I’ve just been in the studio, writing a script called The Man Who Knows Too Much, which is a horror film and I’ve been working on it for a few months now, so it’s coming along nicely.
He has a couple of films in the pipeline too, but is looking to make them a little more accessible for people who might not have the patience for a feature film.””
It’s going to have a really dark tone to it and I hope it can be a good one.”
He has a couple of films in the pipeline too, but is looking to make them a little more accessible for people who might not have the patience for a feature film.

I have two films in production right now that I’m really excited about,” McTRENAN says, adding that he also has some ideas for a TV show.
The Mansion of the Moon The film follows a young couple on a trip to Australia’s Gold Coast, where they encounter a mysterious and powerful figure who tells them about a secret civilisation.
This film, which has McTERSONN working with his friend ANDY KELLEY (Bridget Jones), will be directed by the actor and director.

McTORDAN’S IMAGINARY ‘SUMMER’ In 2016, he spoke about his summer projects and what he’s been working to accomplish.
As a filmmaker, he says he’s trying to take a long view of his career.
“The film that I am working on is an experiment that I haven’t really been able to do since I was 20,” he says.
“It was the same film I was doing when I was in my late 20s and early 30s, and it was one that was incredibly successful.
But I haven- never really been in a situation where I felt like I could do anything else and that I wanted to try again.
I think that was one of my biggest lessons, and that was that I’ve got to keep going and try something new and I’ll find something else to do next.”
