‘Bitter’ Beef: Beef in boiling water is ‘brutal’
“I have always loved this dish.
I think it is good in the end, I have never had anything like it,” said a former employee of a Chinese restaurant who wished to remain anonymous.
“I can cook with it and it tastes good.
But when I eat it, I think, ‘Oh my God, that is bad’.”
The former employee said the dish was originally served to customers with the “brutality” of boiling meat in water.
“If the restaurant had a good quality chicken, it could probably be cooked this way.
It’s a pity the restaurant is now closed, but the fact that they were serving the dish in the first place tells me that the people there are still alive,” he said.
“I think the dish is really good, but it’s not something I would cook myself,” said the former employee, who is now in his 30s and lives in a city that borders China.
“It’s very bad.
The chicken should have been fried in soy sauce.
That is not a dish that you can cook at home.
I wish I could have done that.
